A nice long stretch of sandy beach. Totally deserted in the winter time, but well populated during the summer. A very nice board walk helps to spread out visitors and invites for strolls along the beach, while protecting dunes.
Awesome for the whole family and people who enjoy watching other families with all the dynamics children bring to the scene.
โผ๏ธFact: Providence is actually my last name ๐
Providence Bay is an absolutely beautiful place that I visited not to long ago, though the snow โ๏ธ only begun long before arriving, otherwise the views were spectacular but the coldness was bitter ๐ฅถ definitely some historical findings and discoveries can be uncovered along with a fossil map that can be read. I'd recommend you visit here (when the whether warms hopefully ๐
) and explore what this beautiful small town has to offer. ๐๐๐๐๐
One of the best beaches I have been in Ontario. Clean, sandy beach, clear water, very shallow for good 100m. Very kid friendly beach. No dogs and horses allowed in the beach area. I saw a duty officer patrolling. There is a play area and fitness area. A boardwalk for those who love walking. There is a small sand dunes area too. An ice cream place and few more stores on the beach area. Parking is free. Small parking area. Beach stretches for a long area but sand area of the beach is small (meaning water to the grass area). I will visit again. I had loads of fun with my kids.
What a lovely afternoon we spent at the beach after hiking Cup and Saucer trail. The water was crystal clear and warm, there was a lovely breeze, the sand was clean and there was lots of families
enjoying the play area and the ice cream! We walked along the board walk at the end of our stay and found more places to chill. There are no shady areas so an umbrella is important (we didnโt have one!).
Beautiful beach on Lake Huron. Shallow water for a while, great for little kids. Play structures, change rooms and washrooms available. Very beautiful. Parking is free, if the lot is full there's plenty of parking nearby on the street or a vacant lot right there as well, all free. If you have a chance, go visit the Mutchmor which is right nearby and has a fabulous painted mural on the side.
