Wonderful way to learn about indigenous life and see the importance of birch, sea grass, and porcupine quills in their life and art. Display and video of residential schools in very informative and shows how it affected both the families, the survivors and future generations.
Very cool place to learn about indigenous Ojibwe culture and the impact of residential schools on local community members.
Friendly staff and artists. The artist showed us their workshop and all the materials they use. Gift shop is not big, but has interesting items. Good place to go if you are interested in native arts and culture.
We arrived recently and the foundation was closed. We called the number on the door and they graciously said they would meet us to give us a tour. Sophie and Darlene were very hospitable and informative hosts. It was wonderful experience and we will be back !
