Great place to work
I have very few regrets in life. One was leaving Challenger/Elgin. I would go back in a heartbeat. Best company. Period.
Worked there for 3 months. Had 7 different trucks in that time. Dispatch team was amazing, the service team was spectacular and the training personnel were friendly and informative. However, it's a very random job of not knowing where you'll be going until a few hours beforehand. The yard is (or was) a pothole nightmare. And as stated, 7 trucks in 2 months (1 month training) is frustrating as you never get settled in. Overall it's not a terrible place, just not for those who like a scheduled workplace.
Drove from Comber to Elgin for Challenger 6 months inspection. Shop people were really nice and friendly. Tried their best to get me done asap. Thanks
