I have had the pleasure of working alongside Maigan Cowen for a few of my couples big days. Choosing Maigan to capture your special moments will be some of the best money spent for your wedding day. Her attention to detail and pure professionalism stands out leading up to and the day of. She is wonderful to work with and I keep her high up on my vendor list to suggest to any of my couples!

Hiring Maigan was the very FIRST thing on my list to book once I got engaged before any vendor- I booked her 2 days after! When you know, you know ? After finding her work from familiar accounts on Instagram I didn't look at anyone elses portfolio. She has very clean, crisp, simple and elegant photos, never looking too edited which I knew right away was how I want my important life moments captured.

We hired her for our engagement and wedding photos, and then I needed our family photos done by her as well! She was never late for meeting up for our meeting or any of the 3 shoots I've had her for since the engagement photos, she is very organized and responsive.

Our wedding was in 2020 so everyone knows how many times plans changed and how extra stressful it was but I was never concerned about Maigan. She made me feel like all the changes were no big deal, done.

Being on scene with Maigan is the easiest part of your wedding day. She's always communicating with and coaching you, ensuring each pose is perfect "trust it" is what she kept telling me even when I felt silly- the photos are perfect. Maigan brings amazing vibes to the shoots, her passion for her photography and capturing the right shots shows the whole way through. Once you've been around Maigan for about 5-10 minutes it's like having another friend there with you who's over the top rooting for you the whole time and helping you. I couldn't have asked for anything more with her with my engagement shoot being one of the first times I ever had photos done.

I still am looking through and trying to decide of which photos to put up in my home and I always look through them, they'll forever be timeless and classic.

I first found Maigan’s work by scrolling through Instagram and thought her photos were stunning! She has a beautiful mixture of candid shots, stylized ones, black and whites, and classic ones you would want to showcase in your home forever.

One of the hardest things about planning a wedding is picking someone you don’t know to showcase the love between you and your partner. When my husband and I first met Maigan she was on time, organized, wanted to hear our ideas, honest, experienced, and professional. We both left knowing she was the one we wanted to shoot our wedding. We were still nervous heading into the E shoot with her. We didn’t know her and she didn’t know us! But WOW! Our E shoot was honestly like a fun date that flew by. We had such a great time! We connected with Maigan, and her passion for photography really shined! She was easy going and so, so helpful! No one knows where to place their arm, or knows where the good light is, or how they should tilt their head, etc. Thankfully, we had Maigan to direct us and cheer us on, which spoke volumes in our photos!

We had a 2020 wedding so I’m sure you can imagine all the re-planning we had to do, but Maigan was on board! She helped with planning out the day, fixed minor problems, and was very flexible! Because it was a COVID-19 wedding we had some stressful situations happen at the ceremony, and she handled them like a pro. I’m extremely thankful for that.

Maigan brought in Rich as the secondary photographer for the wedding day. Rich was also amazing. The boys were moving SLOW in the morning but he came in, was very inconspicuous taking detail shots and taking his time. Once everyone livened up, Rich was one of the guys. He made it a seamless day from morning to afternoon

Maigan goes to great lengths to get fantastic photos, she brings an incredible energy to the shoots, her editing skills are superb, and she produces all around great photos. All our friends and family raved about Maigan, and commented on our beautiful wedding photos. I cannot say enough good things about Maigan and her wedding photography skills!

Wedding planning comes with a lot of decisions, and choosing Maigan as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made! Maigan did both our wedding and engagement phots - we love how she captures perfect lighting and candid moments. I also don't like when photos look overedited, and Maigan does an amazing job of enhancing photos while keeping everything looking natural. Not only were the photos incredible, but Maigan was super responsive to e-mails and flexible with scheduling. On the day of the wedding, we were running behind and she kept everyone on track, ensuring every moment was captured, everyone was where they needed to be, and kept us laughing the whole time. Her direction ensured that the photos were authentic, professional, and memories that we will cherish for a life time! Cannot recommend enough!

I don’t even know where to begin. From the second we had our appointment with Maigan, she showed so much passion and love for photography that it made our decision easy. Maigan is incredibly talented and very organized! Choosing Maigan as our wedding photographer was the best decision we have made. She was personable and extremely professional. I was so nervous about being organized and on schedule for our big day however, Maigan has so much experience - she kept us on our schedule and captured all our memorable moments. Our photos are stunning and even looking back on them months later, they draw forth the emotions we had on our wedding day. Her passion and love for photography is evident in her stunning photos and I couldn’t have asked for anything more!
