Touch of Italy ????????
~~~~~~~~~~~~
For the best pizza and for the touch of the Italian cuisine I prefer Tony’s as the best London Ontario has to offer. Thanks to my professor ???????? for the group lunch at Tony’s.
I had mixed veg salad with tomato basil pasta and farm house pizza in which the salad were fresh and properly seasoned. Followed by the pasta in red sauce was Al’dante. The verity of pizza ???? was freshly made in thin crust and taste like authentic Italian dish.
The restaurant has amble space for accommodating 250 people approximately. Such a cozy classic restaurant. Best for the group events and dining.
# the generosity and hospitality shown by the owners and staff were tremendous!
Had a great day at Tony’s.
Best panzerotti I've ever had by far... Is worth the drive from Windsor when I'm in the mood
This is by far my favourite restaurant in London. They have both a dine in area, and a pickup area where you can actually watch the chefs as they cook your food, or make fresh bread from scratch.
I had their Fettuccini Alfredo and absolutely loved it. The ambience is incredible with a rustic stone / wood themed walls / decor. The music is usually some more classical music, so don't be surprised if you find yourself tapping your shoes to a piano from time to time.
The people who work at the restaurant? Priceless. You know in the movies where people will go to their favourite restaurant, and they'll see the owners and it will be like they're longtime friends? It's like that from day one.
My only regrets are that I couldn't eat more!
Great food! Great staff. Owner made an effort to say hello!
I have been patronizing Tony's from day one. As a young boy it was amazing to watch the man himself tossing pizza dough in the window of his original shop a few doors down Dundas at Egerton. This was nearly 60 years ago. This is old school, real deal ITALIAN pizza. When you order a pizza here you get a meal, a large pizza will easily stuff 4 hungry souls. Like any business they don't always get it right, and I find it easy to forgive the odd and rare times this has happened. This place is like an old friend, it's been there forever, the decor is tired, sometimes the staff are too, but make no mistake, the pizza hasn't changed, and make no mistake, it is nothing like the pizza chain junk being dished up by hundreds of crappy pizza joints on every corner. Tony's has been in business for nearly 60 years for a reason and that reason is QUALITY!! I love this place just as it is and hope they never change a thing. Going to Tony's is like slipping into some old jeans, it just feels right and comfortably familiar.Check it out for pizza from heaven.
