Great selection. Slightly confusing at first glance but you'll catch onto their sorting method. Owner seemed very c with the customers and was more than willing to pop a record on for testing purposes. Check them out.

If I moved into this store for a weekend I would still not find all the bargains. This is hands down the best vinyl record shopping destination between Detroit and Toronto (yes, they also stock CD's AND pinball machines AND vintage audio-fidelity gear, all at entirely reasonable prices).
Out-of-towners - you won't regret pulling off the 401 at Wonderland Rd. & taking the 15 minute drive to Speed City. There's also a couple of great lunch spots a few steps away. Free parking too!
Please ignore the small cadre of misanthropes who failed to give Speed City it's well-deserved 5-star rating: despite his shyness, Mike (the proprietor) is an affable, laconic and highly knowledgeable guy and is always willing to share his musical acumen. Wisely, (and blamelessly) to reduce retailer burn-out, Mike no longer suffers fools gladly - thus we can fairly ascribe the term "FOOL" to the few naysayers who have expressed dissatisfaction.

Awesome shop! chuck full of everything you need for your vinyl fix.Owner is helpful and not in your face, prices are fantastic! I highly recommend Speed City records.
