After about a month in my place I can confidently say that Phillip (owner), Melanie (customer care) and Adam (foreman) have been great. In short, modern homes require multiple trades that aren't directly employed by the builder. Knowing this, perfection is unrealistic, especially on the first take. So, the mark of a great builder is not a house without flaws, but someone who is willing to correct flaws and work with you to make sure you're happy. With that in mind, everyone at Hazzard homes have been outstanding.
A note for prospective buyers: have a solid idea of what you're looking for and the budget you have for upgrades. With the amount of choice Phillip gives you, it's easy to get out of hand, or frustrated with all the decision making. If you keep that in mind your building process will be much smoother.
