You never know booking through a reliable and responsible travel agent can help you until you face a problem. I used to always ask Hannah for booking my flight just because she had always found me the cheapest flight with the best route for the last few years compared to other agencies (especially the big and famous ones in Toronto). But after what happened to me this summer, I truly value how booking with a good travel agent can make a difference. I was heading home for a family emergency. On the same day, the US border faces a cyber threat, which resulted in a 3-4 hours delay on all the flights through the US. Therefore, so many lost their connection flight, as well as me. My first thought was since this was a US border problem, the airline will quickly put me on the next flight. Unfortunately, nobody wanted to take any responsibility, and they were trying to ignore passengers. So I called Hannah, although she was on family vacation she managed to put me on the next flight back home. Now I know it’s not only because of the rate that I call Hannah for tickets, but it’s also because of the unexpected situations which having a reliable travel agent can make a difference.
