Sapphire & Lily Events

My wife and I hesitated to write this review due to it being a local company, however we felt the disappointment we experienced warranted a review. We were married last September and had hired Sapphire and Lily as our day of coordinators. Although we were pleased and grateful for the help we received, we were extremely disappointed with Christine, as she chose to walk directly between/behind us, holding up her phone taking videos and/or photos during our ceremonial exit, despite numerous verbal and written requests for an unplugged ceremony prior to and on the day of the wedding, including an announcement at the beginning of the ceremony & one seconds before we exited for safe measure - asking everyone to remain in their respective aisles as we exited.

Although this may seem trivial, my wife and I spent a significant amount of time over two years planning all the details of our wedding, particularly with a lot of thought and effort placed on the ceremony.

Upon receiving our photos we were hurt, disappointed and felt disrespected knowing that our requests were not respected by an individual we hired to assist in ensuring our guests were informed of our requests. It goes without saying that we would not feel this way if a loved one had made this mistake. However we felt this to be extremely unprofessional coming from a day of coordinator. Thankfully our photographer was able to photoshop her out of a handful of our ceremonial exit photos, however it is not possible to remove her from videos. Our family and bridal groups have also expressed disappointment in her level of unprofessionalism.

Oh my goodness I don’t even know where to start when describing how incredible Tessa was at every step. My husband and I met Tessa when she coordinated our best friends wedding last year, the way home we both spent the entire drive saying how badly we needed her for our own wedding. In the lead up of our wedding she was beyond amazing to work with and has an abundance of knowledge in everything wedding related. During our wedding weekend she instantly calmed my nerves, took care of every detail, kept the vendors organized and in check, and even drove my parents home lol. I can’t express how much we adored her, hire sapphire and lily events!

My husband and I were the lucky winners of win a wedding! Getting married on a float with our kids in the Santa Clause parade, was a unique wedding we would of never thought of!
We had a wedding planned for us, without any of the stress. It was absolutely beautiful and we cannot thank Sapphire & Lily events enough. Tessa was great and worked with all our vendors in such a short time line to get it perfect. We would certainly recommend Tessa and her team!

Sapphire and Lily Events was the best decision we made planning our wedding! We hired Tessa as a day of coordinator and she was absolutely incredible throughout our wedding day! She helped with setup, tear down, photos, and problem solving all the small last minute things that came up throughout the day. Would highly recommend!
