I was referred to Dr. Chant for a 2nd opinion. I had a displaced clavicle fracture. A large London Ontario hospital suggested that I let the fracture heal on its own. I was not comfortable with the opinion after doing some research on the type of fracture that I incurred. Dr. Chant took one look at my x-rays and the protruding bone sticking out of my shoulder blade (which would have remained that way for life) and recommended surgery. I'm 3 days after surgery and feel good. His team mentioned that the break occurred in 6 different places, so it was good that I agreed to have it surgically fixed. I enjoyed his matter of fact approach but also his warm and caring attitude. The support staff at Strathroy were amazing too.
