Went for the breakfast buffet and was very happy with the selection. A good sized salad bar, pork, ham and back bacon, really good perogies and all the usual breakfast fair available. Go early for the freshest selection of course, no freshly prepared eggs do scrambled under the heat lamp is all you get but otherwise very good.
I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which came with fries and coleslaw and instead of fries I substituted a soup for an additional $2.. My wrap and coleslaw came first but no sign of my soup. My food was very good and very filling and when I was done my waitress cleared my dishes, I informed her they had forgot the soup which was fine as I was full already so I assumed they would take take that off my bill.. Bill comes $3 extra for the coleslaw which clearly states is included with fries with the meal.. I asked the question if someone ordered the meal and didn't want fries but still got the included coleslaw the meal would cost $3 extra?? Paying $3 more for not receiving something already included..
Reluctantly they took it off the bill and I'm not someone who typically complains but the fact my waitress and kitchen staff didn't understand the question left me asking "are you f-ing kidding me"..
Aside from the staff in need of some math tutoring the food was quite good..
I enjoying trying little dinners. They all have a special spirit or nostalgia about them. Personally it would not he my choice however it has nothing to do with the atmosphere itself or quality of food.
The restaurant was neat and clean. Service was prompt and courteous. Are had the Buffett. Cold bar had potato salad, macaroni salad, lettuce and fixings. The hot bar had so many choices! The ones we tried were good. The one disappoint that I had was my roast beef was very fatty. Others in my group said theirs was fine. Wings were really great!
Great place to eat. Very friendly staff. I notice that the ownership has recently changed and the new owner/owners looks familiar. Would like to complement them on the menu. Did the owner own other restaurants in the London area?
