Kismutt Small Dog Rescue

Adopted Lola a few weeks ago and our family couldn’t be happier! Lola has settled in effortlessly, and we are grateful to Kim and her team at Kismutt for the fantastic job they do in rescuing and caring for all these dogs. Kim obviously has a huge heart and sees the importance of the right fit. The process was easy and yet thorough enough, and we highly recommend saving a dog from Kismutt. Our family is complete, thanks again Kim & Kismutt Rescue!

Another fantastic experience adopting from Kismutt Rescue. 16 years ago we adopted Millie from Kimberly at Kismutt and we were thrilled to be able to adopt from her again this past December and welcomed Myla to our family. Kimberly is kind, caring and has a passion for what she does. She was extremely helpful and took the time to ensure all of our questions were answered. Thank you Kimberly for all that you do!!

Hi we adopted our dog from Kismutt rescue on Christmas day! We were sent his profile from our neighbour and quickly sent in an application. On Christmas eve she emailed us and told her we could be there for 11 on Christmas day. A short time later we brought him home. He has been a dream. He is everything she said in his bio. We would like to thank you for choosing us and we highly recommend this shelter.♡♡♡

We very recently adopted our dog through Kismutt and are so grateful for Kimberly and her crew of volunteers who took such good care of him while we waited to find each other. He came to us loved and happy and it has made his transition to our family seamless. In the days leading up to our picking him up, Kimberly was amazing- helping me prepare for him and answering my millions of questions promptly, lol (we had to do a lot, fast, to bring him home). They do such important work, saving and then connecting dogs to their forever homes and I highly recommend them if you are looking to adopt a pup.

I’m very thankful that organizations like Kismutt exist, to provide essential care to needy animals! Kim is wonderful person who has devoted herself to helping our four-legged friends. My experience with the organization was through the adoption of a couple of kittens, whose stray mom was brought to Kismutt while pregnant. Kim took great care of momma and kitties, and last week the two delightful, happy and healthy kitties joined my family. I’m grateful to Kim and hope she continues her very necessary work for many years to come!!
