We have been here every fall for 5 years or so, nice beach and the price was good untill we learned that they were increasing it by 50$ a night next year. That might be reasonable if the cabins weren't falling apart and completely and utterly covered in filth from top to bottom.

Great location- if you haven't visited Muskoka, you could start here. ***Not all cabins have firepits though- be warned! We visited with x2 children under the age of two years old, and my wife and I were looking forward to ending each day with a fire when the boys went to bed. Asking the family that runs this business for some help, we were told we had to walk about 200' away from the cabin to access a fire pit. With full cottages on both sdes, and no keys to lock the cabin, we had to forfeit the fires. One gentleman told us fat it was because of a fire ban, but the forest fire warning was low, and most of their fire pits currently exist under trees...

For $200 a night- the cottage needs a firepit. Easy fix. Make it happen.

Our family has been going here, first consistently and now the grown children when able, since about 2002.
Brian and his family have always been so very accommodating, reasonable, and progressive.
The location and accommodations are ideal for those whose focus is to have a relaxing time, disconnected if needed, but not isolated, and enjoy nature.
The beach on property is a great area for children, due to the gradual deepening of the gentle lake.

Nice place to fish and swim, but the cabin we stayed in was covered in cobwebs. Could've used a little more cleaning. Great location though, they have kayaks and boats available to use which is really fun. Just bring lots of bug spray because the black flies are unrelenting.

nice place and natural beauty. Only thing is too much mosquito. Keep mosquito repellent handy. A group can enjoy there as well as couples. Loved the boating and the owners are very helpful. Definitely recommend for every one
