Outstanding long term care
My elderly Aunt is now enjoying living at The Pines. She says the staff are caring and she enjoys the meals. I know 3 staff members, personally, and they love their jobs. I think it is a well run facility.
I have been in a few retirement homes. Having had to put my mother in two. The first was temporary placement until a place became ready for her at the home we had chosen. The Pines I must say is the nicest I have ever been to. Lol! I'd stay here myself. The staff are wonderful and should be hugely regarded. The job I know is not an easy one. The place is sparkling clean. A veritable plethora of activities for keeping the residents motivated. The menu us outstanding. I would have loved to join them Sunday for Swedish meatballs and this Swede knows meatballs. There are musical instruments in almost every corner. Which I'm sure when utilized bring a great deal of enjoyment to the community. 5 out 5 stars to this place.
By far the best LTC in the region. Good care, modern facilities, lovely courtyard, and interesting programming. Nice bonus in their room design: standard rooms are essentially 2 private rooms that share a toilet. Glad my Mom spent her last year here; hope my dad gets in, too.
Well I went to visit my mother today and found it quite cold in there...do u not think older people would need more warmth? My mom was cold so the worker asked if she wanted a warm blanket...she said sure cause it's cold in here...maybe turn the a/c off or at least set the temp at 21/22° come on PEOPLE!!!
