We bought two different excellent kayaks at two different times from their Gravenhurst outlet. The purchase experience and value were good. The kayaks work well. Over the past couple of years, two footrests and a couple plastic clips broke. The company quickly replaced all the broken parts at no cost. I can highly recommend ClearWater as a source of recreational boats. If nothing had broken it would be five stars.

Best experience ever!!! David Verge fixed my rudder and many other small details on my kayak in the most efficient and relaxed manner. An amazingly talented MacGyver! His employers are fortunate to have him.

I love this little store and the owners are very knowledgeable... Although I didn't buy my Gaspe from them I have bought many other things here. I have two Gaspe 16' kayaks from Clearwater Designs. I LOVE THEM. I have owned them for 12 years and they have taken me safely through my many adventures. Flat water or big water. They are stable, forgiving and when healed over properly can turn on a dime. The rudder in high winds are flawless and easy to deploy. The Gaspe takes take big waves over the bow like a champ and following seas over the stern don't even reach the cockpit. The Gaspe is great bang for your buck and is hands down the best kayaks I have ever owned.
