I had an amazing weekend getaway at one of the chalets at this place. It was perfect for my partner and our dog, who couldn't get enough of the water! The in-room facilities are fantastic and everything one may need for a cottage weekend. If you're seeking a functioning kitchen, be sure to check out their cabins. Chalets are perfect if you can barbecue or store cooked food in fridge that can be reheated in the microwave.
I highly recommend this place!
The suite at Muskoka Waterfront Retreat was adequate in every way. It was equipped well and had a nice look and feel to it. The room was close to the beach and the town itself was quaint and lovely. Check-in was easy and Kevin was responsive. I would revisit and would recommend this to others looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday.
We had an amazing time at Muskoka Waterfront Retreat!
The amenities provided at Muskoka Waterfront Retreat were top-notch. The lakeview was fantastic, and the dock was newly renovated and made a perfect spot for our group to relax. The availability of activities (jet skis, canoe, kayak, and paddle board) allowed us to explore the lake and indulge in thrilling water adventures. The wide range of options ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The kitchen had all the utensils we needed, and the grill made for a wonderful barbecue with a view. The main area had board games and billiards, offering additional entertainment. The property was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this retreat for a memorable vacation.
Stayed in the Windermere cabin. Fairly clean. Could have used a good dusting. Some of the windows didn't have screens and my curtains didn't close so I had to change in the bathroom so other guests didn't see me. The bed was too firm for my comfort but that wasn't a huge issue. We didn't use the TV. All the appliances worked but not enough cutlery for everyone. The beach is lovely. We stayed in May so it was too cold to swim or use the amenities. I would love to come and stay in the summer.
My husband and I recently enjoyed a lovely winter weekend at Muskoka Waterfront Retreat. The cozy cabin was the perfect escape from the cold, with a fireplace and all the modern amenities we needed to feel right at home. We were impressed with how clean and well-maintained everything was.
Despite the winter weather, we still found plenty to do on the property, from snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to relaxing by the fire and taking in the stunning views of the frozen lake. The location was peaceful and secluded, and the hosts were gracious and welcoming, making us feel like we were staying with old friends.
The retreat was easy to access and offered everything we needed for a quick winter getaway. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated, and we would highly recommend Muskoka Waterfront Retreat to anyone looking for a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
