The Cookhouse in Dwight

Got back from a ride and got a fairly large order of burgers, fries and wings in minutes before he closed. He was happy to serve us and the food was excellent! Definitely will hit The Cookhouse again!

Great place to stop in the middle of spectacular. Food was amazing, The John Candy buger is a must. Friendly staff, quick service and reasonable prices. Love the decor too.

Cycling through Algonquin was camping next door so stopped in for a late dinner, they were closed technically but still told me they could make me something quick from the fryer. Got a poutine to go and it was delicious, lots of cheese and gravy. Staff was friendly and the place looks great inside and out. I would have ate here the next day but it was Sunday and the town of Dwight is closed Sunday apparently. I would recommend if your in the area for sure not sure what's with all the bad reviews. Update it was open Sunday for dinner and stopped back in. I had the chicken cheddar bacon sandwich with a Greek salad my buddy got chicken wings and both were outstanding! I loved the place I will eat here anytime I am in the area and highly recommend you try for yourself and forget about all the haters.
