Stopped in today on a lady’s cycling trip and had coffee and the best apple fritters on the planet.
It was great that Brian the owner stopped to chat with us.
Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the Bala area.

Get the scones! And the cinnamon buns. And the brownies. And the butter tarts. And... I think you get my drift

Ridiculously slow service, asked for two items and only discovered one when we got home. Some items weren't marked with prices. Date square and croissant was good but be prepared it will take for ever to get orders together.

A wonderful family tradition in Bala. A nice variety of products. Prices are a tad expensive but all food is fresh. I'd definitely recommend not going on a Saturday morning unless you're fine with waiting.

This is an okay bakery. I like the product but it seems small and overpriced for what you get. There are definitely some real winner items though; the brownie and blueberry tarts. That said the staff doesn't seem to be very confident in their product knowledge. But that can be attributed to them being seasonal and you can only get what you get with seasonal staff in a seasonal town.
It's worth a trip but I'd say it's better to pre-order and things sell out quick and it's a pain to go all the way and not get what you want.
