We booked 2 cabins over the weekend. These cabins are newly built, they're very clean, everything in the cabins are working well. The beds are very comfortable. it's very close to trails, parks. We really enjoyed our stay this time and would like to stay for longer next time!
Lovely compact cabin. Large bathroom. Compact 2 bedrooms and full kitchen but very functional. Dining table and chairs made it a little crowded around doorways but we ended up moving a couple of chairs and using them elsewhere anyway. 3 adults and a 5 month old baby during this stay, very comfortably situated. Electric kettle extremely useful, and in addition to coffee and coffee maker there were NesCafe packets which was lovely. Convenient drive into Algonquin. Nice to have the takeout pizza place and Convenience store across the street.
We requested a couple of additional towels and they were provided on the spot.
Made good use of the AC, and there was heating which we did not need at this time of year, despite temp dropping to 10C at night. Cabin is very well insulated
EV owners: cabin has a power outlet on exterior with weatherproof covering potentially for level 3 charging.
My son and I had an awesome stay while visiting the area for the 2 Day Algonquin Trail Ride. The location was perfect, situated on the trail system and walking distance to the Madawaska Complex. also only a 15 min drive to Algonquin Park. Gabriella couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. She set aside a beautiful RV site for our truck camper and bike trailer with water and electric (30A) connections. There were also several newer cabins available for rent. Facilities were clean and showers ran hot. Gabriella is also very involved in the community and as such is very knowledgeable about the trails and activities in the area. She is involved in the creation and maintenance of the multi-use trails. So if you hike, bike, dirt bike, snowmobile etc this is definitely a great option. Highly recommended, and will definitely be back next year.
awesome weekend of ATVing from this location, right in the middle of the trail system, Cabins were perfect clean comfortable and fully equipped for a stay. will defiantly stay there again. the host was there for any concerns.
I found this place on one of the sites we frequently sit through and decided to give it a shot. With this site we found a great deal online, to our surprise it was very clean and very workable for two couples easily for a weekend getaway. That being said there is a fire pit to enjoy in the evening after your walk a boat around the lake and a short walk over a bridge. It was very relaxing as the sounds of nature filled the evening.
The owner were very polite and provided information of surrounding areas and attractions.
As for the pictures provided was what was got when we arrive. Kitchen isn't fully stocked but has the basic needs. Dishes and cookware was there, just the smaller things! Just to be aware, but nothing that a dollar store can't fix!
