Had a really excellent time renting a houseboat here. Very comfortable for 5 grown men to stay on, more space than you'd think! Fantastic scenery, excellent fishing. Bruce went out of his way to accommodate us. Would definitely recommend!

Rented a houseboat during the week. Everyone at Tamar was friendly and helpful. The houseboats have everything you need for a trip. Temagami itself as a location is unbelievable. You'll need at least a few weeks to explore more of the lake as it has so many arms and bays. I can see why people fall in love with the area and come back year after year.

Fabulous spot to camp. You're lost in nature and the hosts are wonderful. Cabins had a rustic feel and quick water access. Caught pike, bass & lake trout.

Fantastic escape on a remote island! The 8 cottages are nicely spaced giving lots of privacy. Our cabin was fully equipped and cozy. The views are remarkable, and the island has nature trails to enjoy. Bruce and Anne are fantastic hosts and catered to all our needs. A fun 12 km or so boat ride from the Hub of Lake Temagami, and Tamar organized our shuttles. Will definitely return as I have for the past 15 years. Great that they are open round!
