Our go to place for good local meal after a day of any activity in the Long Point area.
Attentive and efficient staff, tasty meals and good value for your money.
Seasonal patio is a plus, but always a good view from any of the window seats all year round.
Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries deal. First off the fries are awesome. No skins and cooked golden and crispy. Burger had the works and was delicious. Kaitlynn our server was awesome and did and outstanding job. Definitely deserving of a good tip. Recommend and will be back.
My friend and I had lunch there today. Always enjoy this restaurant and today was no exception. We wanted to take home our salads and we were so pleased that they were placed in cardboard containers instead of plastic.
Our waitress was very nice and pleasant. Kudos Boathouse!!!
Fast service. Small menu, but it well represents the local food.
I had the Perch basket. Left quite full and enjoyed the meal. Creamy coleslaw.
Staff was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing.
My only issue was how loud it was. You couldn’t enjoy a private conversation at your own table because of the noise from other tables.
Could used a bit of stream lining the eating area to give you a bit more space.
Only been by here once but I'm a bit surprised by some bad reviews. I had fish and chips, and I notice most of the review of the fish and chips are good. They were good, the batter was quite dark and I was worried it would be over cooked but it turned out tender and perfect inside. The batter was crunchy and quite tasty, the fries were good but there weren't many. So fish seems good, other items I don't know about.
I started with a caesar salad which was pretty good as well. There were generous slices of bacon which had clearly just been cooked from full slices rather than bits out of a jar that I see in most places.
There were some decent local beers on tap, and overall prices were on the high end but honestly not more that what you'll see at most other lakefront places along Erie anymore.
