We took in a show at the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover and decided to stay over in Simcoe at the B/W; easy to get to and lot's of nearby eateries. Check-In was quick and we were offered a no charge upgrade as a courtesy.
Overall, experience was great and everything was clean . Lot's of parking in the back lot made it easy. We would recommend the Little River Inn for sure.
Lovely little Hotel. We went with our sons baseball team and enjoyed the pool and the bbq patio in the back was great. The staff from the cleaning to front desk receptionist was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean, although hotel had a funny old smell and the front of the hotel is under construction. Overall it was a fun stay for all of our families.
We had an unscheduled stop here due to some mechanical difficulties. The staff were extremely nice, letting us check in early and leaving our check-out open ended until we knew about the repair. It's a rather sprawling place, but very comfortable. I would give them 5 stars but for no included breakfast. There is a restaurant off the lobby (owned by someone else) with a discount menu for hotel guests.
Service generally great and room comfortable. Housekeeping only available for part of day ( we forgot to remove the do not disturb until 12, so didn't get clean up). Reception immediately came to explain TV set up! WiFi fine.
I have stayed at this location a couple of times for work purposes. The front desk staff are excellent. Very welcoming and helpful.
The hotel itself could use some modernizing however it is clean and comfortable.
I will stay again when I'm in Simcoe.
