Turkey Point Camp

Had a great time camping with friends. Amenities were easily accessible and the staff was very friendly.

Planning to go again in September.

Be aware that if you stay at the camp on a Saturday night you'll hear the music from the nearby Norfolk Hotel till 2am. It's a mile away but the sound really travels.

Sites are big, it's fairly quiet however there is an outrageous amount of poison ivy. The staff are OK not overly welcoming and tend to ignore you while in the park. I haven't experienced that in the numerous provincial parks I've been to. Some are even quite rude. At the front though I found them to be welcoming and friendly. I didn't like that we had to use our car to get to water. I found that things were spaced out quite a bit (10 min walk to. Washroom 20 to garbage). The facilities are kept clean which is a huge plus for a campground. Showers are decent not adjustable for the kids but there are accessible washrooms which you would have to use for smaller kids.

Campsite are perfect. Washrooms aren't great. The shower door was broken and it smelled like pee. But everything was usable.
