What a beautiful place! I stopped in on the way to a cottage and was pleasantly surprised! The owner of over 70 years shared his stories and introduced us to the store cat! I felt I had stepped back in time. In my opinion this business is a piece of history. It does not carry a huge selection and you may not find what you want but you will get what you need.

What a great guy. I ended up spending 20 minutes just talking to him.

A historical countryside wonder. The proprietor is 82 years and has lived in the area for more than 70 years. The building used to be a hotel, and still has the guest rooms, and a jail, we were told, in the basement. The store has snacks and dry goods. Good for an outré experience that can't be found in the city.
