Northumberland Fine Food

Loved this place. Scott and his wife own it. We stopped by for a light lunch and Scott went out of his way for us. He made us feel welcome and was interesting to talk to. The food was excellent. The lounge is extremely inviting. The live music they sell tickets to are already sold out through end of November. With only 30 people max - would make for a intimate setting. There is a store attached sells many interesting foods and the upstate has an ecclectic offering of interesting items for sale. I highly recommend visiting here.

A trio of friends and I had the great pleasure of spending a few hours at this wonderful space yesterday! Warm, friendly, informative staff coupled with wonderful and unique food offerings from condiments to grass fed meats, sauces, cheeses, breads and much much more, as well as the dish ware and serving pieces and accessories to make a pretty table, make it a must visit for anyone planning to be in the Brighton area.
The Tasting Lounge comfortably furnished with luxurious sofas and chairs in intimate groupings, also has comfortable hi tops and chairs if you prefer table dining. We enjoyed brilliant charcuterie, making our own personal choices from a broad offering of selections for our individual boards and paired with generous pours of excellent wine, both at unbelievably reasonable prices!
The acoustics in the room are like being at home in your living room, amazingly supporting both the music and easy, private conversation, AND they spin vinyl on a rich sound system! So we had a fabulous time with Supertramp and Steely Dan as background serenade.
We can't wait to go back to one of their evenings of live music with superb performers. They sell out fast but we managed to grab two tickets for and October event!
The owners, Scott and Jen are visionaries. Present, serving on the floor, talking with every patron and together, making a huge success of the dream they've created.
Love the place, the concept, the beautiful converted barn space, the food, the music and supporting people who believe in themselves and in having their dream lifestyle. My friends and family will make it a destination of choice.

Well designed fine food and home goods store in an old warehouse. Deliciously curated meats, bread, cheeses, beverages, crackers, spreads, sauces, etc. They have a beautiful and comfortable Tasting Lounge where you can order a very reasonably priced charcuterie board made up of a selection of their products. We ended up buying some of them! The Tasting Lounge also hosts evening music events. I wish this was in Toronto! Scott and Jen have created something truly special. Lucky Brighton!

Northumberland Fine Food is amazing!!! You have to check it out. The relaxing ambiance of the tasting lounge makes it irresistible to step in and have a drink. They serve hot, cold, alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks that can be enjoyed inside or outside on their patio. The tasting board is different everyday inspired by their simple delicious ingredients available in store. Upstairs, there is a unique boutique with fine pieces of art, furniture and more. The staff is friendly and hospitable just like the owners who also spend time serving and interacting with customers. I spent about 3hours in the store with my grandmother and would plan another trip just to hangout there.

Great place for fine foods in Brighton! Also, a café with a different tasting menu every day! Lots of parking, outdoor seating, and bike racks. They now have a liquor license!
