Coles in the Northumberland Mall is a small bookstore owned by Chapters/Indigo. Despite being small, it has a really great selection of books ranging from Biographies, Self-Help, Fiction (Thrillers, Romance, Crime novels and more), a well-stocked kids section and more. The prices are fairly decent for most books. Today I bought six fiction books and it would have cost me $72.30 after tax, but I got the Plum Plus card, so right away I saved $6.40. Also, with the Plum Plus, I get a 10% discount off almost everything in the store, and I got a coupon for $20 off and get free shipping for a year. My only qualm is that I wish the store were bigger so it could have even more of a selection!
Always a positive experience here, but this last purchase was fantastic. Brynn and his team truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter has a special birthday with exactly what she has been asking for all year. I don't know if Indigo knows what a gem they have in Brynn.
Good selection for a small store. Nice to not have to travel out of town for books.
They know their wine. If your unsure, ask the owner. She'll guide you to a few excellent choices, and, your wine will be ready ON time. Mmmmmm good.
Small store but a wonderful staff who know their products and do whatever they can to get you the items you want. I love the way they focus on the customers in the store and ignore the phone in order to give us the attention. I've been in other stores where the phone takes priority and that's so annoying! The store is always neat and easy to shop.
