Cobourg is the second town I visited after Port Hope in Northumberland county which seems to be proudly owning hidden gems in Ontario.
Victoria Hall edifice located at the centre of the King Street in Cobourg is one of the monuments which preserves rich history of Canada. It is magnificent from outside, presently closed but will definitely come back to take a tour once it is open.
I strolled down the streets and was simply mesmerized by the several 18th century architecture and heritage buildings in this city such as St. Peter’s Anglican Church, St. Michael the Archangel Church, University building and many more.
I captured a beautiful intimate wedding in Town Hall and it is a stunning location. The space is amazing for capturing an elopement or small wedding. Photos captured by Crystal Jessup
This is a cool old building, and you are welcome to walk through several parts of it. If you have kids make sure you visit the art gallery on the third floor, there is a kids area with story books and building toys.
Lucky they didn't let the idiots demolish this building. Take the free guided walk, interesting and only takes about 15 minutes.
