(April 5, 2018, 8:19 pm)I will be up front and say I have done work for Al, but that was only after years of visiting the auction hall. I kept visiting all those years because there was always a wide variety of items up for auction, and the prices were reasonable. I also liked the fact that Al looked after his auction clients as well as selling to the evenings customers. If there was bad weather, or a low turnout, Al would not let valuable items go for nothing. I respect that and it encouraged me to take my stuff to him when I was ready to downsize. The quality of items up for sale has been steadily rising as the crowds turning out each Tuesday have gotten larger. But deals are still available every auction night. Al is entertaining and keeps things moving along.
