I spent 12 years in discomfort & medically unwell because no one would take me seriously…
That was until I was referred to Origyns.

I saw Dr. Devitt first; From the very first app’t she was nothing but kind, understanding, and incredibly helpful. I had lots of anxiety surrounding what was going on, but she was there with me every step of the way. I was never made to feel silly for asking questions or needing reassurance. Best of all, she BELIEVED ME! Dr. Devitt listened to everything I said (even making a point to apologize for my experiences with other doctors) and told me that no matter what it took, we were going to figure it out & work to resolve what was going on…. And she kept her word. Once tests were completed and it was decided I would need a surgeon, Dr. Devitt referred me to Dr. Elfazari (who is an OBGYN surgeon - I believe).

Dr. Elfazari is a gentle doctor. Like Dr. Devitt, he took time to explain everything, didn’t make me feel rushed during my appointment, and ensured that I understand everything that was happening and my options for treatment. Once it was decided I would have surgery, he worked hard to get it set up.
Because of Covid-19, there was a bit of a wait for surgery, but I never once felt like I couldn’t contact the office and access him if I had questions or concerns.

On the day of surgery, Dr Elfazari made a point to come out & talk to me (again, going over everything, explaining, allowing me to ask lots of questions, and ensuring I completely understood). He ordered a bunch of test preoperatively (which I found to be incredibly thorough). When surgery was completely he made the effort to call my husband to let him know that I was okay and the surgery went well.

I’m now nearly 2 weeks post op. I’ve been able to access Dr. Elfazari, via the office (the staff are wonderful) when I needed to ask questions.

Since walking into Origyns that first day, I’ve not once felt alone in my journey to wellness. I’ve felt respected, cared for & (as silly as it may sound) important. Everyone from the office staff to doctors put me at ease.

If you have the good fortune to get a referral here, don’t hesitate! You’re in the great hands of medical professionals who know what they’re doing, want to participate in getting you well, and care about how you feel/what you think.

Dr. Devitt & Dr. Elfazari have given me a new life, one without pain, anxiety & fear. I couldn’t be more grateful for them.

Yeah, all doctor offices get a bit laggy with phones and emails. This one is pretty good tbh. In terms of gyne care, the doctors are professional, it's got an ultrasound place right in the building, and they take my questions and concerns seriously. They provide a valuable service and can always slot me in at a good time. They do what they advertise, and efficiently.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Elfazari yesterday and truly felt (for the first time in awhile) that my well-being and gynecological health were a real priority. He was so knowledgeable and took the time and care to explain my condition and options to me in a way that was clear and understandable. The clinic itself was clean, the staff were friendly and my appointment was right on schedule! Thank you!
