My favourite place in the city for a chai latte, matcha latte, and french vanilla.
Beats the other chain cafes on campus at both flavour and price--and they don't charge you extra for milk substitutes! Keep an eye out for their deals of the day: I always get a matcha latte on Mondays and a chai latte on Tuesdays because they're 10% off after 11.
Food is really good here too! Always hot and fresh. Plus you're supporting the students :)
The hot spot of the university - be it lunch, coffee or just a place to study, roosters is always full of people.
The reasonable prices, delicious food and the overall vibe of this coffeehouse speaks for itself. A must visit to anyone studying or visiting Carleton University.
Their everything bagel and falafel pita are my personal favourites!
Foods decent enough for the price and service is pretty good. Roosters always seems to be busy, so expect to wait a little for your food. I recommend the bagelwich personally but I've tried their other food and it is also pretty decent. Their smoothies are pretty great as well. All around good place to go in and grab a quick bite.
I got 3 smoothies to take home and try each a separate day. one of the employees was happy to make suggestions and provide a personal opinion on her favourites, which are now my favourites too! I recommend the mango smoothie.
it’s a bit tiring to climb all those stairs but the smoothies are worth it in the end. also, they kept really well in my fridge! best smoothie spot on/near campus.
My favourite chai lattes in the city! The service is fast and incredibly friendly. Price points are pretty fair for broke students. I absolutely love their menu - it caters to different dietary needs. Soy and other dairy options are no extra cost in lattes and smoothies! There is a good amount of seating too, but it gets packed pretty often. Perhaps my favourite thing is that they have fair trade options and use compostable and recyclable packaging!! They are one of the only places on the Carleton campus that has a compost bin. I’ve never been disappointed by the food here. Highly recommend, even if you aren’t a Carleton student!
