Trinity Hobby

Well stocked Gundam & accessories hobby shop. Don't expect any real-world tanks or aircraft models. A few racks of paints and diorama supplies. I believe they host a build or gaming night for customers. Nice to see brick & mortar shops around the city.

Pros: Excellent paint stock; one of the best in Canada. Great model kit stock. Great website. Shipping is prompt and at a great price within Ottawa or Ontario. Tool selection is decent.

Con: Prices are a bit above average.

No comment on their figure or tabletop selection other than a cursory glance seems favorable. Given a few years of expansion, they could easily overtake MM if they can get economy of scale to bring their prices down.

Edit: I had an email go unanswered for two weeks until I made this review, which used to be 4 stars, then it got replied to within minutes. Accidents happen, I'm willing to take the polite apology email I got at face value and assume it isn't a pattern. I've bumped the rating up, but I'm going to leave this edit in my review to be transparent. If you need to contact them, it was suggested in the email to use their website chat box.

Great customer service. Very knowledgeable and polite. Has a huge variety of products for everyone. A big space for card games and models.

Excellent local hobby shop with tons of Warhammer, Gunpla, Figurines, and Card Games. They have a great selection of paints and tools for modelling, including many brands from Asia that are hard to come by. Prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

I've ordered online a couple of times and I'm pleased with the service. I bought mostly paint bottles and everything was well packaged and nothing missing. The order was delivered within five working days using standard Canada Post service inter province.I highly recommend Trinity Hobby.
