Been There Financial Planning

My wife and I came across William with Been There Financial Planning through a google search. We are both 2-3 years into our careers and were feeling lost when it came time to decide how much to save each month for retirement to be able to maintain our lifestyle. We were searching for a financial advisor to help us develop a savings plan and guide us in the right direction with some strategies for growth within my wife's corporation.
William initially met with us to get a feel for our biggest concerns & long-term financial goals. Following a handful of incredibly organized meetings, William provided us with realistic projections for retirement, a variety of well-explored scenarios, and an in-depth financial plan (addressed investments, tax liability, end-of-life/disability planning, and business concerns). After our first meeting, we realized how many factors of financial planning we were overlooking. We had been so focused on savings and growth that we hadn't thought about how to protect ourselves or our future family should one of us be unable to work especially considering that my wife is self-employed.
We cannot thank William enough for highlighting our vulnerabilities and improving our financial literacy. William was able to take (in our opinion) a complex financial situation and deliver a detailed 30+ paged plan that acts as a guide to implement the changes necessary to start us on the right track.
