They were on time, did a fantastic job with vent cleaning, and were very patient with all our questions. Easy to navigate their website. Easy to set up a service date and time slot (I was given the next business day because I wanted it done asap). Very professional and friendly staff (Agith and David). Took good precautions to protect walls and floor from the equipment they use. Took time to show me a video of the work they did…quite impressive the amount of dust that was removed from my house. I will do business with them again.

It took me 1.5 weeks looking for a good and affordable duct cleaning service, contacting almost a dozen companies based on their Google and BBB reviews and was looking for 4.9 - 5.0 perfect reviews. I ended up going for Gravity Duct Cleaning. And why? Because this is one of the 2 duct cleaning service that do not charge per number of vents. Majority of duct cleaning service will charge less, but will only cover around 10 vents (both supply and return) or 15 vents at the maximum. So any vents in excess, you are charged $10. I have 39 vents in my home, so I have to pay for 29 vents which will total another $290 almost doubling the cost. And that is a lot. A second company was charging me a fix cost irrelevant how many vents I have but was informed it will take like 8 hours!!! And their charge goes over the roof because they based their cost on the size of my house. I do not even understand why they base in on house size, and 8 hours??

After talking to the owner, Ken, and sending him more questions via email, he was able to answer all my questions in good faith and I decided to go for Gravity Duct Cleaning. I also included a very cheap $49 charge for cleaning my laundry dryer vent which I have never cleaned for 19 years.

On the day of the service, I got a reminder via email of the upcoming service including the invoice with all the taxes included. So you already know what you will be paying for before the technicians even arrive. In most of the other duct cleaning service, since they will have to count the vents, you will not know how much to pay until they come and fully inspect the house, and maybe other surprise charges you do not know and may end cancelling the service or go for it and blindly pay for it because you have already set up everything.

The 2 technicians came very late and instead of arriving between 1:30 - 3:00 pm, they only arrive by 5 pm and it is supposed to take 2 hours. I have to admit I was annoyed but they called me and informed me they will be late though that 1 hour late became 2 hours. I was worried that because they were 2 hours late that they may rush the job. I was wrong, they worked for 3 hours instead of 2 hours and both technicians were very meticulous and they really did a perfect job, cleaning up the place the best they can to make sure there were no big dirt, dust or pieces of metal (as they have to drill holes on the trunks vents in the basement) lying around.

So even if they were late for 2 hours, that is all forgotten because of the excellent service. I understand now why they were late - because they most likely have to spend an extra time for other customers they did for that day and hence, it all piled up and that affected the timetable with us - delaying their arrival for 2 hours. What is important for me was a professional service done right with no rushing. I was so happy I gave them tips as well to compensate for their effort.

I will highly recommend Gravity Duct Cleaning. And in fact, my neighbor saw their truck when they were doing the job and they may ask for their service as well and will be happy to provide Ken's contact. Keep up the good work Gravity Duct Cleaning
