Ticks are just the risk you take for being outside these days. Has nothing to do with the place specifically.

(June 15, 2016, 9:23 pm)My daughter's class enjoyed the pioneer village for their grade 3 field trip. Fantastic day! They built a cabin out of giant "link n logs"; made a wooden toy; attended "school" in 1892, using slates, ink and quills; helped do chores of early settlers including sawing logs, grinding corn, hauling water using a yolk and carrying blocks using ice tongs. Our guide, Nicki was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful day!
