I went to this place when I was a kid and it was one of the best winter memories I've ever had.
LOVE the place... never been here though
Had lots of fun here with son and his class.
Ticks are just the risk you take for being outside these days. Has nothing to do with the place specifically.
I went here yesterday with my class and it's a amazing trip. highly recommend it
My daughter's class enjoyed the pioneer village for their grade 3 field trip. Fantastic day! They built a cabin out of giant "link n logs"; made a wooden toy; attended "school" in 1892, using slates, ink and quills; helped do chores of early settlers including sawing logs, grinding corn, hauling water using a yolk and carrying blocks using ice tongs. Our guide, Nicki was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful day!
