We ordered the TAKE-HOME Christmas Dinner to serve 4 people. I selected pick-up Dec 24th at 3:30 pm, and was sent an email saying that I would get another email when order was ready. The second email never arrived, so I called at about 3:50 PM and was told "yes, your order is ready". Upon arriving home, I was disappointed with the size of the order, in particular, 2 smallish birds (Cornish hens) and a small bunch of roasted veggies. In addition, there was no stuffing!! So, I called them and mentioned the smallish portions and was assured that the portion size was plated and weighed and would suffice. The lack of stuffing was a mix-up and I was offered a credit or if I came asap (because it was Christmas Eve and they were closing soon), they would make some stuffing for me. I headed out again for the 24 km round trip. I'm glad I did!
The stuffing was ready and they added a second portion of the roasted
veggies for my trouble. The bottom line is I found the WHOLE meal was great! Warming everything up was easy and delicious!! The breast meat on the bird was a tad dry, but that's what gravy is for, right! I would have given 5 stars, but I had to make a second trip. Keep up the good work. I look forward to a dining-in experience soon! Cheers!

Went last night for diner. Beautiful stone house, lovely atmosphere, excellent service. Mushroom appetizer was very good, Shepherds Pie as well, as was apple hot maple syrup dessert. I ordered New York steak which was huge but I ordered it to be done medium and it was too rare. Sent it back and there wasn’t much change. Everything else on plate was first class, fries perfect and lovely different vegetable combo. I appreciated that everything was replaced when it came back 2nd time. To me a medium cooked steak is a gray brown colour and a pink band in centre but still soft and juicy on inside. Steak was also a bit tough. My son had the same steak and his was a bit tough as well. I believe that cut should always be tender. I will go back again because I want to support this local restaurant that has so much going for it and I really want owner to succeed.

Great service, great atmosphere, great portions.
5star dessert. However, the steak was mediocre. My guests was undercooked (to her medium preference (shame I know) and then brought back still rare.

My steak NY strip was a monstrous portion more like a 24 oz rather than 14 as advertised.
My steak was mediocre, not that tender and flavour meh.

The dessert and service at atmosphere were 5 star and I’m willing to give it another chance, I think.

Best food we've had in a really long time. The thought and effort that goes into the meals is incredible to say the least. Would certainly be back.
