(July 31, 2021, 9:00 pm)This is a river beach and is technically an island. Parking costs max $2 for every 5 hours. Ample parking spots available. There is washroom but no shower facility so make sure you have a plan for cleaning up after playing in the water and the beach.
The Island park has a tiny fossil museum and has a trail in it as well.
Plenty of benches available for use. Sight of the river is pleasing and is a good change from a lake beach.
Highly recommended. -
