This is a river beach and is technically an island. Parking costs max $2 for every 5 hours. Ample parking spots available. There is washroom but no shower facility so make sure you have a plan for cleaning up after playing in the water and the beach.
The Island park has a tiny fossil museum and has a trail in it as well.
Plenty of benches available for use. Sight of the river is pleasing and is a good change from a lake beach.
Highly recommended.
Beautiful place... It unfortunately still happens time to time to find addict's supplies...
Ooh this place, is Amazing! There is enough space for a lot of people. Family gathering, group friends too. Even date would be great here. Just awesome! You should go visit for sure!
I’ve only been there once, but it’s really pretty and big. If you’re in town, you def need to go there during the summer.
