Very good experience here: the salon is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer a variety of services for reasonable prices. Cassandra is wonderful and I would return to her in the future for my hair needs.

Tina did my spiral perms. Honestly can not say enough about how amazing Tina is. She is kind, very knowledgeable, fun, patient and really listens and truly cares about her clients. I would not go anywhere else! The rest of the staff were also extremely friendly.

Today was my first time going to AKA Beauty Concepts and I had a great experience with Andrea! She listened to me to understand exactly what I wanted so she could give me a great service. She took her time to ensure that my highlights came out perfect. I’ve found other hair salons in the past would rush and rinse the colour out even if it hadn’t lightened enough, some even added lowlights I didn’t ask for. Not Andrea! She made sure it was the perfect lightness! She even offered me a delicious espresso while I waited for my colour to set. Andrea was also very kind and easy to chat with. Their sinks are also super comfortable and the lady that rinsed my hair and did my toner was also pleasant and gave a good scalp massage. The cut was also exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be going back to Andrea! I’m glad I’ve found my new go-to salon!

It all started when I decided to get a mullet hair cut for Canada day. Here I was, the day before Canada day, looking for a hair salon, when I came upon a hair salon called AKA Beauty Concepts. What caught my eyes was the 4.9 star rating and it was at a very convenient location. I must say it 100 percent deserves that rating. I walked in. They had room for me and accepted me gracefully.

The salon had a great atmosphere. When you walk in you get this exited feeling. The chairs look like the new movies theater chairs where you fall asleep 80% of the time. It was nice and clean. The staff were all smiles. Showed a picture to my hairstylist and told her what I wanted, she liked the challenge. She Conquered the challenge and made my hair look great. Turns out my hair stylist was the owner of the salon, we had great conversation throughout the whole wonderful experiences. We talked about family and our lives during covid 19. I was astonished to hear she was paying her employees during covid, even when she had no business. What a great boss to work for, I know of a lot of other companies that did not pay there staff. I like to go to a salon knowing that the employees are treated like family.

From now on I am only getting my hair cut at AKA Beauty Concepts.
