Everything looks so delicious!!! I got a unicorn macaron which was very sweet and a great treat. I also got a really cool cake that looks just like a mango!!! Going to come back for that one again because it was so unique and tasty.
I love this location. It's so nice inside, lots of seating. A variety of food to choose from, prices are definitely reasonable, staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is really good as well. Lots of parking around.
I had a great experience at Dao Cafe. The service was fast and friendly, and the staff were very attentive to my needs. The cafe has an open concept design, which makes it feel spacious and cozy. The menu offers a variety of drinks and snacks, and the prices are reasonable for the quality. I especially enjoyed the Vanilla Rose latte and the chocolate croissant. Dao Cafe is a perfect place to relax, work, or chat with friends. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice cafe in Ottawa.
Visited during their soft opening, a few days before the grand opening and ordered a Cafe Latte and Strawberry Daiquiri Japanese Souffle Pancakes. The drink was prepared promptly and tasted excellent. The pancakes took about 20 minutes to receive, but that's because they make them fresh to order. The pancakes themselves tasted delicious; a very strong strawberry flavour and a texture I can't describe. The place is aesthetic, modern, and clean inside, but surprisingly doesn't have as much seating as the building's size would suggest.
Will definitely visit again in the future.
So far so great. I just stopped in to this newest location for Dao cafe and this space is gorgeous. It is expansive, with tall ceilings and acres of interesting seating. The coffee's great and there is tea (if you're into that sort of thing 🙂).
