My visit to this lab was excellent down to and only because of the Blood Tech named Prisca. They were short staffed that day and my wait was over an hour. I listened to her patiently deal with impatient public while also training someone and entering requests. I needed blood work and an ECG done. Time went on and it got to 5pm and I was told I would not be able to get my ECG due to them closing. I was in so much pain, needed help getting there etc so could not come back. Prisca kindly gave up her going home time at 5 to do my ECG. She deserves some recognition for that selflessness not just with me but with everyone she interacted during the busy time I was there. Thank you Prisca, your kindness is greatly appreciated by me.
Two months ago I had an extremely negative experience visiting this lab. But today the situation has completely changed.
My second review about the Dynacare Laboratory at 2446 Bank St #105, Ottawa:
Today's visit left me only a positive impression. I came to the laboratory for blood test at 9:15 AM, at 9:40 AM I already left the laboratory, my visit took 25 minutes. The work of the staff today was very fast, clear, attentive. THANKS!
But I'm saving my first review:
Disgusting service! I registered online, arrived ten minutes early according to the instructions on the website. The receptionist said that my waiting time would be 20 minutes. I patiently waited 45 minutes. But many people who came after me were served. I asked how long to wait, the respechenist answered me that there were several more people in front of me. Why was it necessary to lie that my waiting time would be 20 minutes? It's actually over an hour! My blood pressure rose and I was forced to leave the laboratory without giving blood for the test. Online check-in does not work correctly, the queue board in the waiting room does not work, the information received at the reception is false. It's hard to imagine a worse service than the Dynacare Laboratory branch at 2446 Bank St #105, Ottawa.
