Very happy we went with JMD pools to install our pool last summer. JM is honest, knows his stuff, and kept us informed throughout the process. His crew was friendly, hardworking and helpful in explaining how all the pool equipment is to be operated. All in all a very positive experience with JM, Shawn, Brian, and the rest of the team.

We shopped for a pool for over a year. Several blueprints and computer images were generated and salesman came to the house to try and get our business. We noticed one thing about all of them except for one. Everyone had something negative or a story to tell us about a different builder and how they were the best. Jean-Michel was different. He simply said positive things about everyone. Even told us that if we were interested in a different style of pool that he couldn't find that he would recommend "company x", even said that they had top rated installers. To me, honest customer service trumps everything. JM was extremely patient with us. Walked us through every step, explained how the build would go, payment plans and options and helped us select the liner which is extremely difficult as we found out. His builder came over and painted out options on the lawn and suggested a different style and said that we had enough room just from standing in the yard. We were pleasantly surprised as we had a certain size in mind and his suggestion worked.
When it came to the dig and the build, his builder and crew came to work. Extremely professional, polite and personable. The foremen took the time to show us all the workings of the pool, how to trouble shoot and maintain everything once it was installed. We have no regrets in picking this company. They came back in the fall to close out the pool and maintain contact after the build was done. Even after the bill was paid the owner continued to call to ensure we were happy. I had one small minor issue which JM had his installer come over and fix immediately.

We had our landscaping and pool built with JMD Pools in 2016 and were very happy with everything. We interviewed many pool companies prior to hiring Jean Michel and some things that gave us confidence in his work were:

1. Not trying to upsell us on anything.
2. His knowledge of the industry and materials.
3. The fact that he has his own dedicated crew.
4. References from other customers that we visited.
5. Different considerations for salt vs fresh water pool construction and materials.
6. End to end service so any fencing and lawn fixing that had to be made after the pool was constructed was done by his team as part of the service.
7. Telling us certain pool designs may cause long term problems.
8. Providing ongoing opening and closing services.

We had a leak a year later that JMD resolved promptly caused by a faulty part in the plumbing.

We've had our pool now for 4 years and continue to be happy with the pool, landscaping and ongoing service.

Would hire again without hesitation.

Jean Michel and his team installed our pool and did an amazing design and installation job. His years of knowledge and experience of pool design really shone through. We had a number of companies come and quote for the install, and the difference between “just another pool install” versus the care and attention we had with JMD was significant and the reason why we chose them.
