I came across Yolanda's class via a Kijiji ad and when I engaged her I knew I wanted to be in her class. I was impressed by her high standards of professionalism before, during and after the class. I loved that she was such an amazing communicator and very accommodative of my requests before the actual class day.

On the day of the class, I was pleased to walk in to a very clean salon/class environment(having previously been in a salon that wasn't clean). Highlights of my experience:
1. Yolanda had literally thought through everything needed for the class, I could ask for b or c and she'd have it all set for the class/experience.
2. I learnt how to blow dry and braid hair without causing damage.
3. She literally walks you through every product, equipment you are using and how to use it efficiently for best results.
4. She explains every concept/lesson in the most basic way so you gain full understanding. Plus, she's very thorough and barely leaves you with questions. She answered all questions professionally.
5. The take home bag had so much stuff I was literally lost for words. From braiding necessities to hair decorative pieces.
6. I received a certificate, which was almost a super highlight. I was doing the braiding class for my home personal use but just that bonus certificate was a great motivation.
7. She's kept her doors open for ongoing coaching &consultation

The class is definitely worth it. Actually, you get more bang for your buck!!

This was definitely the best investment I have made in myself and looking forward to engage her going forward for more learning.
