BEST CHICKEN WINGS IN OTTAWA!!! love this place, highly recommend the buffalo chicken poutine!!
I seem to have the privilege to rate this place first. I’ll try to do it justice.
Chicken’n wings has limited options (which is not a bad thing). If you want your chicken fix. It’s worth a try. Here’s the skinny
Pros
- delicious wings, I got the regular (with bone) and they were perfectly cooked and the coating was not too rich.
- lots of sauce options and all were good
- for reference, much better than wild wings coated wings
Cons
- I ordered on door dash and it’s confusing. I orders 30 wings and I wanted some of them in sauce. There is a “dipping” sauce option and a “sauce” option. But nothing is clear and you have no clue what you’ll get. When I got my order, it was all on the side, in tinny containers. If you want a large portion of one sauces, I have no clue if they will give it to you? Also, if you ask for sauce with it, how will it be dispersed?
- The order showed up wet. The box of wings (in the bag) was wet and falling apart. From water, which was odd and unsettling
In the end, I mixed a few of the similar sauces with wings in separate containers. It worked well. Especially mixing all the different garlic ones. They were sooo good. I’d give it a 4 star for the menu confusion but it deserves a 5 for the food. Hope they fix the menu issues.
