Chris was great with Baci. He was very helpful and took the time to answer questions and provide options. He gave me several things to work on and gave me great suggestions. Chris takes the time and you never feel rushed. He is also very flexible on the sessions and was always accommodating. He also offered to text him if I had any concerns. Thank you Chris!
I started taking my 2 dogs to Chris late last year. Both of my dogs are rescues and are leash reactive. I had been to many other dog trainers before making the transition to Kanata K9 and I really wish I had done it sooner. I used to not want to take my dogs for walks because they were so stressful. My dogs would pull, lunge and bark - one out of fear and one out of excitement. Chris has given me the confidence to walk my dogs again. We have created more boundaries for them (inside and outside the house) and I can now give my dogs clear expectations. Chris is quick to respond whenever I have questions, gives me “homework” to work on with them through the week, and has even gone out of his way to take additional training courses so that he can better understand reactivity to give me even more suggestions and tailor our training to mine and my dogs needs. He has helped me build better relationships with my dogs. I can’t recommend him enough.
Chris changed the relationship I had with my dog Nova. I was always stressed! Felt like I could never relax in my house, I must of said NO 100x a day. I'm happy I was recommend by a co-worker because I actually want to bring Nova with me now. Chris taught me alot about why dogs do the things they do, so I feel like we can actually be a team. I would gladly recommend Chris!
Chris immediately connected with our puppy and helped us progress through timidness, leash pulling and how to positively teach our dog manners and commands. We appreciated that Chris came to our yard and promptly responded to our questions and concerns in between lessons. You will not be disappointed.
Chris has a lot of patience. He is able to manage multiple dogs at the same time. I had 8 dogs at one point when my rescue dog had puppies. He trained them to sit, lie down and walk on a leash. I was lucky to have Chris walk my dog and provide me with great ideas on how to get my dog not to pull, but walk beside me. Chris is very kind and gentle with my dogs and I trust him to take good care of them. - Wendy, Stittsville
