Algonquin Commons Theatre

Great venue! Really no need to sit in the front rows and pay extra. Sound carries well throughout the theatre. Pretty much isn't a bad seat in the house by the looks of it. Also a clean and professional. Would return for another show.

First time at this theatre and I would highly recommend it! Seating was easy to find, spacious and comfortable. The stage was very viewable and the sound quality superb! Parking was close and plentiful with park, pay and go. Great place to see a show.

Algonquin Commons Theatre is a wonderful place to attend concerts. You can see the scene very well from every point in the theatre. Seats are spacious and comfortable. The sound quality is very good. I went here to watch Chinese folk rock band Hanggai and I hope more international concerts are going to be scheduled soon. The only two minor downsides are the facts that the theatre is very far away from downtown and that prices are rather steep for a theatre situated on a campus.

The audio and lighting effects here are top-notch. It's easily one of the best theaters in the city, and has hostel all sorts of events, from niche Tamil events to Xavier Rudd shows, to stand up comedy, and I've loved every visit.

The seats feel premium and the event organizers always make it an excellent place for you to lounge around in. Hats off to AC.

BEWARE: Washroom vestibule has 2 doors, and they're metal. So I've had an incident where somebody was in a hurry and ended up hurting my toe bad.

Comfortable seating with excellent view angles from any seat. Audio was well controlled for our show - had good "kick" but not obnoxious by any means. Lots of parking. Accessible upper or lower area seating. Worth considering if you are looking for a venue for a small (> 2000 seat) event.
