Dental Clinic

I have been to Algonquin's Dental Clinic for teeth cleaning in the past few years. I have been a happy client there. In the past, I only needed two appointments to finish my teeth cleaning. The first appointment is normally for the assigned student to do a complete oral examination, further checked by the instructor (registered dental hygienist) and dentist. The second appointment is for the teeth cleaning. This year, the dental clinic has made some changes to the process. Student's dental work needs more attention by the instructor and students need to write down more work detail every 15 minutes or so. So, this change does affect the time needed to finish the cleaning work. As a result, I needed an extra appointment to complete my teeth cleaning. A total of 3 visits for the teeth cleaning is acceptable to me.

Only extra comment I would like to provide is that some students may need to apply deodorant (or a solution of hydrogen peroxide and water) to get rid of body odor from their armpits. However, students may not know that he/she has body odor. So, this is something the teachers and management need to discuss.
