I'm not sure where to begin. I am truly overcome with emotion and gratitude as I write this review...I reached out to Sheena Laird due to her ratings and reviews in hopes she would be able to take my case which was being covered by Legal Aid. To my shock and excitement she took my case. From day one she treated me with such kindness. So much so, my whole family just adores her. My situation was difficult due to the lack of involvement from the other party and several other obstacles that would take too long for me to explain. This did not faze Sheena at all. Everything seemed to move at lightning speed. By nature, I'm a very inquisitive person. Sheena kept me so well informed and up to speed on all matters that I don't believe I ever asked more than a handful of questions! Safety was a concern for me. Although the other party had to be served (by Mike Atkinson of MCA Process Servers, who did a phenomenal job), Sheena ensured that all matters were handled methodically and fairly to both parties in order to avoid any present or future difficulty. Sheena went above and beyond for me even in the face a global pandemic (which in itself presented several obstacles). Sheena Laird is an exceptional lawyer and an amazing human being. She helped me so much with my separation and divorce. Sheena is an incredibly empathetic lawyer who approached the separation agreement in the utmost professional and efficient way possible. Sheena is very thorough and takes the time to explain cause and effect of every decision you make in court. She is very detail oriented and genuinely cares about her clients. I spent many years working with her and she is very good at replying to phone calls, and emails in a timely manner.
