Leslie Park Public School

Great school, i will never thank the staff that was there when my son attended enough for helping me get through his struggles as a single mother i couldn't have done ot without the staff at Leslie Park

As part of my nursing program, I did a placement at this school and taught the kindergarten classes the importance of washing their hands. The teachers were all so friendly and the school itself made me feel right at home. Despite being in the city, this school has a small-town feel to it. It's small, quiet and the student population is smaller than other local schools. Loved my experience here.

I went to Leslie Park Since Montessori and all the teachers and kids there are great. My brother also attends Leslie and he told me that they have new clubs like Photography Club ,Choir etc. We may be a small school but that is what makes us awesome so what we don't have a Cafeteria you eat in your classroom with all of your friends. I only have 1 thing to say about Leslie Park is a kick-ass school!!!

I transferred my daughter to this school in grade 4 (from Knoxdale Public School). I found Knoxdale overpopulated to the point that teachers were not aware when a child was injured physically OR mentally from attending that school!!

I've found Leslie Park to be small, with some programs missing, such as a choir, but most schools in Ottawa do not have a lot of extra programs anymore :(

My big marks go to Leslie Park for the upgrade in education. My girl was SO far behind attending french immersion at Knoxdale...she had no idea how to do division, which should have been at the same level in french or english institutes of education. I highly recommend avoiding the trend of forcing french into your child's life...the focus should be in all subjects, as Leslie Park Public School does. Bravo to the entire staff!
