I recently moved to Ottawa and found this place randomly online. I came in for a complimentary consult with Cherine and to inquire about laser hair removal. Immediately I was hooked. It was refreshing to meet someone who actually cares about my skincare goals like they are her own. Her knowledge and process was so comforting and beyond my expectations. For context, I am a brown woman with dark hair, different hair textures, skin pigments/concerns etc. and the endless knowledge she has for my skin type - and every skin type - actually blew me away. She was thorough, did a patch test (loved that she had the latest tech), informed me of every step and it was such a pleasant and comfortable experience throughout. Not to mention her prices are really affordable. Already looking forward to trying more skin treatments and continue seeing results! (Seriously, I just put myself in her hands now because of how impressed I am). I can say so much about Cherine but you just have to meet her.

Now let’s get to my hair...mind blown. While I was sitting and waiting for my consult, I saw Moodie from the corner of my eye cutting another woman’s hair and I immediately wanted my hair done by him - and I very, veryyy cautious about who I let touch my hair. The care and attention to detail I saw was something I have not seen in a long time. I ended up speaking to Moodie about booking an appointment to start my hair repair journey. After lots of damage and hair loss from stress and hormones, I was so down on myself. I really did not knowing what to do and with my type of hair (thin and curly) it felt hopeless. But Moodie came to the rescue. Not only was his cut and style exactly what I wanted but he suggested something called a Diamond Botox Treatment - never heard of it or tried it before but I am so SO glad I did it. My hair went from dry and scraggly to actually having some weight and health in one sitting...worth every penny. Moodie is not only very knowledgeable about his art, but he is a very friendly and caring person. He treats you like family and like you are his only focus the moment you sit in his chair.

Both Moodie and Cherine are a power team. I can come in to get hairLESS and hairSTYLED in the same day?! Amazing lol. This place has my patronage forever...they have a knack for pulling out YOUR beauty. Very important to me. Wherever you are in the city, they are the best of the best.

I have recently got silk touch treatment and it turned out awesome. I have never imagined my hair to be so smooth and straight. I don’t need to use straightener anymore. They did amazing job. Thank you so much 😊.

I got the Silk Touch Kératine treatment done on my hair last week and I absolutely love the results. I first heard about it from my cousin who did it before me, and I was shocked by how shiny and straight her hair looked without her having to straighten or blow dry it… I have very naturally curly and frizzy hair so I had try it out myself too. I am so happy with the results - needless to say the results were exactly as promised. I don’t have to use the straightener on my hair anymore and my hair doesn’t even get frizzy in the humid weather. I also got the shampoo and conditioner which help with maintaining the treatment overtime (and they smell so good). My hair feels so soft and shiny and I’ve gotten so many compliments on it already.

I recently got the Silk Touch done and I am mind blown! My hair is naturally curly, wavy and very frizzy..this treatment has freed me from blow drying and straightening my hair. I can finally air dry my hair and it’s literally pin straight, shiny and with zero frizz! My cousin also did the treatment and has the same results. I highly recommend this ladies! It lasts 6 months so it’s really worth it. I also bought the shampoo and conditioner which do smell amazing! Thank you Moodie, I am loving my hair and the freedom from blow drying! :)

Visited this place by reading all positive reviews and found the best salon for my hair and skin care. Cherine is very talented and knowledgeable lady, she understood your concerns and provides the best solution always. She is very energetic and always greet with a smile, I started my first laser session with her and really impressed with the result. I am excited to start my chemical peel for face and many more laser hair removal sessions.
Moodie is highly skilled & experienced about hair types, products and treatments. I did my hair cut with him and I am really impressed with his work so decided to have his new line of treatment "Diamond Botox" and I am glad to see my hair shiny,full,and much more healthy.Planning to do chi-keratin treatment soon here.I can't thank Moodie enough for all his time, patience,care, suggestion about my hair.
