TATKA - Halal Bangladeshi Grocery

Very well mannered people. But I find that they over charge for vegetables and doi.

Last month we went there first time and bought the goat meat. I would highly recommend this place. And the service was good.

Had a chance to visit them today, I bought some beef shank, some whole chicken and some Bangladeshi sweets (chomchom). Prices were amazing and customer service was excellent. Owners are amazing people and it is a great store to visit. Highly recommend them for you Halal meat needs.

I recently moved to Ottawa from Toronto and was looking for a Bangladeshi grocery store. I was immensely impressed with the way the store was set up - it was exceptionally clean and organized inside and the staff were very friendly. This is definitely my go to store for deshi groceries.

Great little store! Owners are friendly and the place is very clean. We've bought pre-marinated chicken tandoori from them a few times and it's always fresh and delicious! Not too overpowering with garam masala and almost homemade taste. Wi be returning to make them part of our regular groceries.
