Here is a nice place to eat for those who prefer vegetarian and vegan meals. Pleasant atmosphere. They also have seating outside. You can dine in or take out. Polite staff. Clean place. The Green Door is the only restaurant where my friends and I can all eat. They label allergens with great care, and have the most tasty vegetarian/vegan food I ever had. Love the place, love the french-speaking staff, love the food. Definitely an Ottawa staple!

Took my older granddaughter who's vegetarian for her birthday supper and we really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the patio. The waitress was especially wonderful and patience since we took our time. Would recommend this place Highly for anybody. Street parking is available in front of the restaurant.

A friend introduced me to The Green Door and I loved it. They have different service model given the current restrictions, yet still provided quality food and service. We shared lentil patties to start, which were awesome, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals, a curry bowl for me and quinoa salad for my friend. The mini bottles of Chardonnay added to the enjoyment of the meals. Plus it was a beautiful summer night so it was nice to enjoy lovely meal on the patio.
